Rococomance is a new show by South Bend artist, Christopher Stackowicz. On display are 15 new oil paintings combining the dreamy, wispy world of the rococo with female home improvement models of the 1960's. The paintings express the struggles fathers face in raising daughters; how does one reconcile the princess aesthetic with the harsh realities of the mundane?Rococomance will be on exhibit at inSPIRATIVE art center from opening night on Saturday, September 11 through October 2. The public is welcome to attend the opening night of this show. Doors open at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
