Upcoming Artist: Samantha Barton

The inSPIRATIVE art gallery is preparing for the next exhibit opening night on Friday, February 12 where the featured artist Samantha Barton will showcase her provocative work for the Red Hot Blues event.

From her own words, Samantha shares more about her subject matter for this exhibit:

"The work presented is an observation of modern day “Hip-Hop” culture within the realms of African American’s past and present. The images explore the evolution and complexities of the past struggles and today’s presumed ideals purported by commercial and popular media."
